In the U.S, there are quite a few types of health insurance coverage to consider. The most common one is private insurance, typically provided through employers. There's also managed care plans, where providers contract with health insurance companies to provide care for members at lower costs. And don't forget about direct primary care where doctors charge their patients a monthly fee for a range of services, bypassing insurance.
